How can I get an estimate?

To obtain an estimate please send us an inquiry by clicking here. Once your inquiry has been submitted with a detailed message including dimensions and a picture of the item your want recovered or custom made a team member at Zitro will get back to you with an approximate estimate and yardage.

Can I provide my own fabric?

Yes, you are welcome to provide your own fabric. We also have a large selection of fabric books available to our clients.

Is pickup and delivery available?

Yes, pick up and delivery is available for an additional fee.

Is installation included in the delivery fee?

No, installation is not included in the delivery fee, but it is available for an additional fee.

What is the turn-around time?

Most turn-around times take 2-3 weeks for reupholstery and 3-4 weeks for custom pieces. Rush orders are available for an additional fee.

When is payment due?

A 50% deposit is due to begin your order and the remaining 50% is due upon pick-up or delivery. Full payment is required to place any fabric orders.

What type of payment method is available?

Payment can be made with cash, a check, Venmo (@zitroupholstery), or Zelle (zitroupholstery@gmail.com). At this time Zitro is not taking credit/debit card payments.

What is the process to have a furniture piece recovered?

The process begins by removing the old fabric from the frame. Once the fabric has been removed an inspection is performed. The frame, springs, webbing, padding, and cushion inserts are checked and replaced if required and approved by the client. The fabric is then cut, sewn, and upholstered to the frame. If required, the cushion covers are filled to complete the look.

What is the process to have a custom furniture made?

The process begins with an onsite measurement if required. Once all the details of the custom order have been approved the frame construction begins. Once the frame is built springs, webbing and padding are added. The fabric is then cut, sewn, and upholstered to the frame. If required, the cushion covers are filled to complete the look.

What is the process to make a pillow or cushion cover?

The process begins with an onsite measurement if required. Once all the details of the custom order have been approved the fabric is cut and sewn to the desired design selected by the client. If required, the pillow or cushion cover(s) are filled to complete the look.

What happens to the original fabric of an upholstered item?

The original fabric will be removed and disposed of unless otherwise stated by the client.

What happens to forgotten furniture?

Any uncompleted orders left unattended after one month are subject to a storage fee unless otherwise stated. Any furniture left unattended by clients after six months is subject to disposal.
